You Want this Recipe? Sorry, You Have to Hear a Story About My Kid’s Soccer Game First

I make the best vegan coconut-goji berry-chocolate chip-macadamia nut cookies with flax seed oil and wheat germ your google recipe search for a tasty dessert has ever seen! And they are so good for you...my kids are always whining for the traditional chocolate chip cookies that my ex-husband’s mother makes them, but these are so much better and healthy with natural and organically grown ingredients.

There’s a reason why this is the 12th search result when you are looking for a delicious vegan snack for your kiddos. As a busy stay-at-home mom and recipe blogger, I don’t have much time on my hands to always make homemade, from-scratch treats, and that’s why I love these cookies...they only take 55 minutes to make! They are also very filling, so your little lady won’t want to go for a second round and add to that pesky belly fat that’s been poking out from her tankini!

The problem with today’s baking mamas that I’ve been hearing lately is “they don’t have the time” to read through recipe blogs to find “just the recipe.” As a part-time recipe blogger and Facebook influencer, I find this as an insult. When I give out my recipes, I give out a little of my soul. You can’t just find a recipe, follow instructions, and have an end result. You have to know the context, the origin, the very heart of how “rosemary kale pancakes” or “sun-dried tomato lentil patties with cashew butter” came to be...a few of my favorites I’ve blogged about!

When you follow my blog, you’re going to get the whole story about my vegan coconut-goji berry-chocolate chip-macadamia nut cookies with flax seed oil and wheat germ, about how my son’s soccer game got rained out and my ex returned the kids earlier than I had expected. The story is so important in the making of these cookies, you won’t regret reading the whole 12-page narrative!
